SIFF 2018 - DAY 14 - MAY 30, 2018

Michael Ward on Wednesday, May 30

SIFF pushes forward, with a busy week of guest appearances, North American and World Premieres, and the Centerpiece Gala screening of Boots Riley's Sorry To Bother You on June 2, a live score presentation at The Triple Door on May 31, featuring the classic film L'inferno, and the Opening Night presentation and gala at the Kirkland Performance Center, featuring The Drummer and the Keeper, on May 31.

It is going to be a busy week! Here at Should I See It, we will try and see as much as we can, and share coverage from members of the Seattle Film Critics Society linked below. We post Daily Journals to help enhance and inform your SIFF experiences for 2018!

Come back and visit our daily journals, see additional SIFF coverage from members of the Seattle Film Critics Society, and look for more and more reviews from us as we move through the remaining days of SIFF 2018.

At all times, you can purchase tickets at the online SIFF box office.
The sortable online film guide and daily schedule is always a click away.

Day Fourteen finds 18 feature films for you to ponder and consider.

A FEW CAN'T MISS OPTIONS FOR TODAY:

THE BLEEDING EDGE | 99 Minutes Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering return to SIFF with the powerful The Bleeding Edge, which analyzes the billion dollar medical device industry, and looks at how innovation prospers and makes the impossible seem possible. Then asks the question: what are the real costs?

PROSPECT | 100 Minutes - Everyone keeps talking about the micro-budget sci-fi film Prospect, which concludes its SIFF run this evening. On a nearby moon, a father and daughter look for alien artifacts, but soon discover they are not alone prior to departure.

TIGERS ARE NOT AFRAID | 83 Minutes - Director Issa Lopez has crafted a sobering, powerful, and richly symbolic look at the devastating consequences of Mexican gang culture and the victims so often forgotten about – the children.
